New for 2013, I am now offering digitally painted commissions as well as traditional paintings and pencil drawings.  Digital paintings are created in exactly the same way as those hand painted on paper, only using a graphics tablet and art software.  I dont use any fancy effects or simply edit your photo, paintings are hand drawn and much more detail can be achieved due to the ability of being able to zoom in on the painting.  (lots of work in progress pictures showing this process on my facebook page http://www.facebook.com/AnimalArtist.KatyFerrari
Digital paintings are Giclee printed on Hahnemule German Etching fine art paper ready for framing or printed on 100% cotton stretched box canvas ready to hang straight on your wall.  I have now added a digital painting price list to the prices page

Pet portraits can be commissioned in Gouache water based paint or graphite pencil to just about any size required. All that is needed is a good colour photograph (see photograph tips) Some of my examples show the photograph next to the painting so you can compare the likeness and the way in which the animals character is captured within the pet  portrait. It is possible to paint more than one portrait on one painting or have several views of the same animal together. A portrait of your pet dog, cat, horse or any other animal makes a fantastic gift or a lasting memory of an old friend for future generations to enjoy

Price will depend on size and number of subjects and whether you require just the head or the fully body of your pet painting.

As I work from photographs, distance is not an issue and your pets portrait can be sent anywhere in the world.
